Join Us on Our BBQ Journey in the New Forest!

Thank you for being here on this exciting adventure with us in our beautiful spot in the New Forest!

OUR FIRST FULL SEASON OF TRADING

Summer 2025 is set to be our first full season of trading as Origin Barbecue at East Close Farm. We are a family-run business, and we’ve had quite the mountain to climb to establish ourselves as a full-swing BBQ joint over the last 6-12 months.

Gaining a sound reputation as a quality local food catering and hospitality provider is a long-term project. We are all hands on deck to build the dream!

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR

In a nutshell, we’ve been busy building our outdoor kitchen and indoor prep kitchen. We’ve invested in our collection of BBQs and catering equipment. Our team works tirelessly to ensure happy customers and attract repeat ones. We maintain high standards of food, stay inspired with fresh ideas, showcase a variety of menus, and deliver great customer service. Listening to feedback is key! We keep up the good energy through the inevitable peaks and troughs that come with changing seasons.

... Woah! Take a breather! The list is not exhaustive!

It has been an incredible journey so far, with no shortage of challenges along the way. But that’s all part of the fun of starting a new business, and our hearts are full of faith!

BUILDING OUR ONLINE PRESENCE

A couple of months ago, we created an Origin Barbecue Google Business Profile that we keep updated with mouth-watering photos of our food. We are buzzing to see some incredible customer reviews coming in!

All of this is so encouraging (and heart-warming). It lets us know that people are loving what we do.

If you're one of those kind people who have left us a lovely review, thank you! Great reviews really help new businesses like us to get established and gain new customers!

Just throwing in a random photo here of our Footlong DTA IPA Beer Dog... have you tried this yet?

THIS WEEKEND AT ORIGINA BARBECUE

For this coming weekend, we have a special menu called the "ROCK 'N' ROLL” menu. This fun, music-themed offering uses our locally sourced ingredients and will be served on Friday 11th from 4-8pm, Saturday 12th from 3-9pm, and Sunday 13th from 1-7pm.

Check out our tasty options... some are pretty lively!

Are you a Beastie Burger, a Fleetwood Bap, a Hellraiser, a Chilli Manilli, or a Britney Bean? >>> https://www.originbbq.com/menu

OPEN MIC NIGHT

On Friday, we have an open mic night where we invite local musicians to bring their instruments, voices, or records and play!

If you're a local singer, musician, or DJ with vinyl, drop us a message and come down if you're free! A Burger and a Beer are on offer for all who're keen to entertain our Friday night visitors in the yard!

If you don’t have a musical talent to showcase but want to soak up the vibe, we would love you to swing by from 4pm! It’ll be a fab evening of music, epic street food, and tasty beer courtesy of our friends at Drop The Anchor Brewery, who we share the yard with. The weather is looking awesome too (always a bonus)!

We love DJs & Musicians coming to play in our yard! Here is Chef BignoseBBQ with DJ Goldchain Paul.

UNSIGNED SESSIONS 2

This Saturday, we have our highly anticipated UNSIGNED SESSIONS 2 music event, which follows on from our first UNSIGNED SESSIONS that we held in May. It was a huge success!

Here are the details for UNSIGNED SESSIONS 2: https://www.originbbq.com/event-details/unsigned-sessions-part-2 so you can get an idea of what's in store on the day!

A RELAXING SUNDAY

If Sunday is your day to unwind and you’d love a chilled one with your nearest and dearest, the yard will be a pleasant and relaxed place to hang out. Let us take the strain with the cooking, as we shall be delivering the same awesome ROCK 'N' ROLL menu, just with a quieter ambience.

Young Christian (8) will be there running his Tuck Shop and Sweet Treats. It’s a family affair here!

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Big love,

Victoria, Chris, and the Origin Team.

Cannot recommend highly enough; Origin BBQ did the catering at a party we had at DTA. All of our guests bar none raved about the food.
